I'm not one for raving about unsigned bands, but The Stowaways have made a really great little record here. The understated and fresh sounds of 'Fever' and 'Don't let me down' are blended into the equally excellent 'Monroe', 'Strangers' and 'This fever'. These three have more raw sounding qualities to them but maintain the intricate guitar riffs and assured lyrics seamlessly.
I have two major hopes for the immediate future of The Stowaways:
1. They come and play a gig in Leeds, so i can go see the show
2. They get to make a full album like this
A definate 5*'s from me, and i'm sure it won't be long untill The Stowaways make it big. Very best of luck boys, a great effort here, I love it!
