A fire is burning...sound the alarms!!!

Whatever the material...the voice is undeniable!! Only one voice has the strength, yearning and sheer power that meant she paved the way for all the pretenders. Craig Cs mix is best, although solitaire has a good feel. Already storming the US club playlists and in the Billboard club play top 15 (after just 2 weeks!) Sounds unspectacular on the first listen, but it doesn't take long to get hooked. C'mon itunes - dance chart, dance releases, queen of dance...no mention yet. Do you really know your stuff? Pay a little homage and give the lady the space she deserves!! Sublime!!!!!!

Donna Summer is back on form

There is a real buzz about this taster for Donna,s first album in 17 years. Its a brilliant slice of retro dance with a modern touch. All of the mixes are very different in style and showcase summer,s amazing voice which sounds as sultry and sensual as it did on her earlier hits. This is definately a return to her former greatness and it will reposition her as the Queen of Dance and return her to the dance floors.

Donna Summer is Back!

Strong vocals and amazing mixes. I like the Spanish part of the song. The Solitaite Club Mix and Craig C's Burning Club Mix should go down well in the clubs. Can't wait to hear the entire new album "CRAYONS" from which "I'm A Fire" is taken from, when released.

Donna Summer's title as the "Queen of Disco" wasn't mere hype — she was one of the very few disco performers to enjoy a measure of career longevity, and her consistent chart success was rivaled in the disco world only by the Bee Gees. Summer was certainly a talented vocalist, trained as a powerful gospel belter, but then again, so were many of her contemporaries. Of major importance in setting Summer apart were her songwriting abilities and her choice of talented collaborators in producers/songwriters...
