Great tune
Awesome backing as always with Khaled and because of the wealth of talent on the track then the lyrics are sick. I have played this track well over 40 times over the last few days. Buy this track, you won't regret it.
I'm So Hood (Remix) - DJ Khaled Feat. Various Artists
The original version of this song was a definite cut of the modern rap scene. It contained modern electro inspired beats with a deep drum machine bass sound. The various talents of many major artists made that song an inspired hit. The catchy hook from T-Pain layered with the DJ callouts from Khaled make the main part of this song utterly infectious. The flow of Rick Ross is surprisingly good with his rhyming couplets at the beginning of the song combining perfectly with the modern beat. Plies slow churned out flow again matches the style and set of the song Whereas Trick Daddy makes a untypical vague impact. The Remix on the other hand is simply a different set of lyrics from lots of artists set in with an occasional symphonized horn. The melody which has been slightly changed was fine before and now feels too artificial. The lyrics are okay in general but the flow seems slightly rushed and does not feature the finesse of the original cut. The cram of 8 different artists (not including Khaled himself) in just under 6 minutes makes this song exciting but again the hurried lyrical flow still seems subtly apparent. Overall this is a good version of the song but doesn’t quite match up to the original what overall is far superior; in beats and lyrics.
Im So Hood Review
Awesome Collaboration! 100% Step up from the original Version (which ludacris should have been in hehe), Khaled has worked his magic once again, he wont ever be stopped! Special mention to Busta on this he transforms it to another level with his racey rhymes! King of Remixes, HES MAKING MORE FEES
