Simply Beautiful... the album and the movie, you must buy this.
This album is simply beautiful, every song is just mesmerising and so stunningly composed. The movie is also just amazing and a must see... this is the sort of album you need to listen to late at night in the winter, in the bath with candles... enjoy.
Tear-jerker !
I just saw the movie, be prepared and be sure to have a box of cleenex handy ... it is very moving indeed ! my favourite is track 14 "The third wish" ...watch the movie and you'll see why ...a great film and stunning soundtrack.

Gavin Friday was the lead singer and principal visionary of one of Ireland's most ambitious, challenging, and (often) difficult post-punk groups, the Virgin Prunes. After leaving the Prunes in 1986, he abandoned the music business to paint for a year and a half, returning to the fray after teaming up with pianist Maurice Roycroft (whom Friday renamed the Man Seezer). The duo's 1989 debut, Each Man Kills the Thing He Loves, found him making unexpected moves into a sort of modern-day cabaret style,...
