Album Review
Two and a half years after his third solo album, Artgerecht, singer Roger Cicero returned with an album that deviates from the successful retro-swing formula of its gold- and platinum-winning predecessors. Arranged by Lutz Krajenski and featuring Rea Garvey, Jools Holland, and members of Jamiroquai and Juli, 2011's In Diesem Moment (In This Moment) features few of the Sinatra-inspired big-band stylings of Cicero's previous albums and aims for a more diverse jazz-pop sound instead. The album entered the German album charts at number four and the Austrian album charts at number eight.

dont know whether RC writes his own lyrics but they are brilliant. poignant, linguistically challenging, grammatically correct (!) and often breathtakingly beautiful. way to go, herr cicero!
