Trumpet player Dave Woodhead was one of England's top session musicians, and a member of Billy Bragg's band, when he discovered the kwela (pennywhistle) tradition of South Africa. Recruiting guitarist Adam Keelan, bassist Chris Morgan, and drummer Mario Guanieri, Woodhead formed kwela band, Positively Testcard.
