Island Life are the best record label!
I was lucky enough to go to two of their celebration events in London last week to see Keane and Fratellis, they have some great names under their belt but still retain the personal detail that so many record labels have lost these days. I strongly recommend you download this album - there's some great songs on it and you'll love it! A massive 5 stars for Island Life!!
New Talent
Great Album! Island have the best artists in the world and it's great to see how diverse they are. Love Scott Matthews, great songwriter! On the downside, I don't understand why PJ Harvey isn't in this collection. One to watch is by far I Blame Coco. Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Duffy, move over cos Coco Sumner is going for world domination at the tender age of 19.

This is one album that defines a label and it's evolution to encompass a path of survival while maintaining it's original course of signing new + challenging bands [ even if they are what some people regard as commercial. Remember commercial = successes and £££ in the bank to survive and continue.] A remarkable, likeable album with discs 1 + 2 appealing to me while the 3rd does not. On the whole packed with musical historic memories with top tracks that stand the test of time. All in all a good buy you can whistle or sing along with, which you can’t with more recent non commercial efforts. No regrets buying and can recommend you do the same.
