Album Review

The Portland, OR quintet's big, booming rock translates surprisingly well to the worship setting once again on It Is Well, their most fulfilling effort since 2005's Strong Tower. One reason Tower won over so many fans was its authentic vertical praise, something not easily accomplished by a band that is frequently compared to 3 Doors Down, Creed, and Nickelback. It Is Well represents another transformation in direction without departing from their core Kutless sound. The album may be driven by perfectly fitted guitar work, but the most memorable element is Jon Micah Sumrall's voice. It soars on compelling anthems like "You Save Me," first single "What Faith Can Do," and the title track, a modern cut of the 19th century hymn. "Remember Me" brings them back to their modern rock roots, with a Staind-like riff powering home a message of vulnerability. The album received a warm response from fans, debuting at number 42 on the Billboard Top 200 and number three on Billboard Top Christian Albums.

As good as ever!

Anyone who hasn't experience Kutless....you are missing out big time! Any song from any of their releases could be a single, they rock HARD, and now and again they can turn a man to tears. This by far is their "softest" CD to date, but the title kinda gave that away from the start! Beautiful melodies, awsome vocals....a welcome addition to the collection. If you are a fan of quality rock n roll, punk-pop, power pop....however you want to label it, then seriously get your teeth into these guys.

Absolutely awesome

These guys are great! I didint buy their album on iTunes because somebody bought it me on CD but I wanted to write a review. Ever since I first saw them at the alton towers ultimate event last year, I have fallen in love with them. All their songs are soo powerful in their own different way and they really help you to understand God Which for me has bought me so much closer to Him. It's amazing, they have such an impact that I'm still listening to all of their older albums. I can't say my favourite song because there's simply too many and I love them all. Unfortunately Kutless aren't coming back to the ultimate event this year-bummer! I reeeaaaalllllyyyyy hope they come next year though because I live in England so it's the only place I can see them. Anyways, thank you guys sooooo much :D
