This track will find you
Its a track that grows positively on each listen. Dense layers of lush noise resonates through your speaker/headphones. A real must for anyone interested in forward thinking indie/electronica. The new 2007 album has some real treats too, check out Sonic Youth, Spiritulised, My Bloddy Valentine meets Ulrich Schnauss with a smattering of U2 or Coldplay. Do yourself a favour, Get some MAPS!!!
Mercury music prize nominee.
Saw this on the Mercury music prize, it sounded great and well worth the nomination. Bought the track on itunes despite the warning about quality. This was a mistake, the sound on itunes is poor and not worth the purchase price. The track is great, a real must have, but get it from somewhere else!
Don't buy this!!!
The track is amazing, one of Maps' best but the sound quality provided by itunes is appalling - its less than 1mg per minute of music. Considering that the high quality stuff provided by itunes is at least 2mg/minute how they think they can get away with this is beyond me. There is no bass and it sounds like its been recorded through a megaphone into a tin can. Avoid.
