Great Album but..

I know I shouldn't technically rant like this on an iTunes review, but I thought I would vent my anger slightly...artists like Lily are extremely talented but what really annoys me is they release albums and fans who want the music, like me buy them and then six months to a year later, they release the "Special Edition" or "Deluxe Edition" etc etc.....it annoys me that artists and their records companies attempt to exploit the fans of artists by releasing the album again with new tracks and some live ones stuck on...

Lily has done it, Leona Lewis has done it and Beyonce (despite releasing a standard AND deluxe edition of 'I Am...Sasha Fierce' at the same time, has now released a PLATINUM edition with new content and videos. I won't be buying any of these because I bought the original release and don't want to be ripped off.

This is in no way a detriment to Lily's album...it's a real cracker. If anyone is thinking of buying, I would purchase this version as you do get quite a lot more for your money than the average 'repackaging'....having said that I still get aggrevated by this new system of re-releasing albums within the year with a few extra tracks to capitalise on some people's obsession with certain artists....

I love this!

Every week my favourite changes. I especially like Who'd Have Known and Everyone's At It.

By the way, she had decided not to release Who'd Have Known because of the, shall we say, 'similarities' between the chorus tune and that of Shine by Take That. However, Take That told her to go ahead and use it.

Having just watched the Children In Need Rocks The Albert Hall special, I noticed the prominence of the tune similiarity, but was delighted to hear the mashup of the two songs by Lily Allen herself and Take That.

<3

I adore Lily Allen, I saw her in concert on Saturday and I think she is amazing.
She is so original and her songs relate to so many lives which is why I think she has so may fans.
I cannot wait to see her again. :)

Biography

Born: 1985 in Hammersmith, London, England

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '00s, '10s

With her omnivorous musical tastes and cheeky attitude, London-based pop singer/songwriter Lily Allen made a name for herself almost as soon as she released her demos on the Internet. The daughter of comedian Keith Allen, Lily spent most of her childhood bouncing from one school to another — in fact, she attended 13 different schools between the ages of five and 15. This constant moving meant she didn't have much of a chance to make lasting friendships, so Allen entertained herself with books...
