It doesn't get much better!!!

I went to this gig last week and it was genuinely one of the greatest gigs I've ever been to. Tom, the lead singer, was incredible and I don't think anyone who has not seen them live can understand how much he owns the stage. The rockstar swagger as he came onto the stage for the first time sent the crowd into a frenzy. Then as he stood at the front of the stage without saying a word and right under the spotlight, he threw his arms out as if he was a God. It was a moment I will never forget and I fear he is a lead singer who will never get the credit he deserves because so many people just look at Kasabian as if they were a poor substitute to Oasis. And after watching both gigs, I can say with confidence, that Kasabian are much better live than Oasis, they are more consitant with good songs... although in fairness they haven't yet had their defining "Wonderwall/Champagne Supernova" moment. But they are a great band (this isn't a stab at Oasis btw, they too are a legendary band) and they deserve much more appreciation. Buy this album as it conveys a fraction of the incredible setlist and only a small portion of the atmosphere of the night, but still thats still a hell of alot of MOSHPIT MADNESS :) Kasabian ROCK! BUUYY!!

Amazing!

I love Kasabian and they sound great live, I saw them at St George's Market in Belfast back in June and they were fantastic! Buy ALL the songs!!

Kasabian took the British press by storm in the early 2000s by mixing traces of the Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, and Primal Scream with Oasis-sized confidence and DJ Shadow-influenced electronics. Named after Linda Kasabian, Charles Manson's getaway driver turned state witness, the Leicester-based group also stole a page from the Band by moving into a remote farmhouse to brew its music. Communal life and a slew of shared influences produced an electronic, rock-oriented sound that harked back to the...
