Simply brilliant

Great tunes, great singer, great guitarist, great band. If these guys and these tunes don't rock the world soon then we may as well all give up and go and live in a hole somewhere. If this is the first offering, I can't wait to hear the next. The record industry needs to wake up and realise what's good for itself - it's right here in front of you...HELLOO, IS THERE ANYBODY THERE?

Wow.

The title says it all. The Quails are mind blowingly good for an unsigned band. The Quails music is hard to describe. It is essentially indie rock, but wierder and far better than that would suggest. The bands songs are a myriad of chunky catchy riffs and melodies, overlaid by Dan Steer's over the top vocals. This is then made even better by the amazing solo's created by lead guitarist Max Armstrong. The overall effect is.. well, im finding it hard to put into words, suffice to say that it's very very good. The only possible criticism i can think of is that the album doesn't quite do the live performances justice, but then, go see them live. So buy the album, and help catapult the Quails into the super-stardom that is sure to come. tc

awesome!

Saw these guys play at Eden project last night, they we're brilliant and loved the crowd!
