Album Review
Following two number one albums and a Mercury Prize nomination, Hard-Fi released their third album, Killer Sounds. Recorded in the band’s Cherry Lips studio, they worked alongside Stuart Price and Greg Kurstin to evolve their indie rock sound with heavy soul influences throughout. The first single from the record, “Good for Nothing,” showcases lead singer Richard Archer's instantly recognizable vocals, and the ramshackle drums rekindle their Northern soul influences.
