King Of Pop

Michael Jackson is a legend and he is the king of pop, but is this album really necessary? I personally don't think it is a must have album because since 1987 i have been a massive MJ fan, so i have all these songs already. But for those people just discovering MJ, then this is the album for you. Although you should have MJ in your collection by now. I cannot argue with the price either, £12.99 for 48 songs is brilliant. If i did not own a MJ best of then i would buy this. I know that the list is amazing but nearly every MJ best of i have seen is missing Leave Me Alone, it might not be the greatest MJ track ever but it is one of my favourite tracks. Michael Jackson is the King Of Pop. This album gets 10/10.

Remember this isn't MJs work....

Let's keep something in perspective; yes this is another MJ greatest hits. Why? Because MJ regains the rights to all his music very soon (leading to the new album and tours, etc) and Sony are milking the catalogue for all it's worth. If you've not got these songs somewhere already, great - get this. If you do, then pass on. As a massive MJ fan, I'll be buying it for the rarer tracks towards the end of this CD.

Great Value

I don't know why, but I never had any MJ in my music collection until now. It was the great value 12.99 for 48 songs that persuaded me...or I could be getting older and wish I was back in the eighties :-)

Michael Jackson was unquestionably the biggest pop star of the '80s, and certainly one of the most popular recording artists of all time. In his prime, Jackson was an unstoppable juggernaut, possessed of all the tools to dominate the charts seemingly at will: an instantly identifiable voice, eye-popping dance moves, stunning musical versatility, and loads of sheer star power. His 1982 blockbuster Thriller became the biggest-selling album of all time (probably his best-known accomplishment), and he...
