More Killer Than Filler

Amiina have been such a promicing band since their conception. But where as they made truly moving masterpieces on both of their EP's (AminaAmina & Seoul) on Kurr this is where they seem to fail. Amiina are excellent when they focus all their energy obviously in a small project rather than a mammoth one. However Kurr is a lot more accomplished that a lot of the music that is being produced around the world, it isn't stale and mass produced, which is very refreshing this day in age. Included on this album are two tracks from the Seoul EP which includes one song exactly the same and a reworking of Ugla now re-named Rugla. Included with the first track Sogg these three songs consist of the best work to find on Kurr. Other tracks are good but don't stand up to the quality of their previous releases. If you want a good idea of what amiina are capable of seek out their previous releases, because this doesn't really convey the excellence that they used to strive for and accomplish.
