Great set of songs!
I actually have the CD of this album, but I did download their other album Shake (which is superb by the way). The production isn't amazing (according to the band website this album was a demo) but don't get me wrong - as you can hear from the itunes samples - it's not exactly harsh on the ears, but the songs are fantastic! A real 80's vibe to it - which is my bag baby, if you like bands like Bon Jovi, Warrant, Skid Row etc you'll love it. I give the songs a 5, the production a 3, but it should be about the music, so a 5 it is!

Great collection of early recordings from a top band. They have moved on a long way since these but still some fantastic songs.
Demo?
This is a demo (which I always thought was to comprise 3 or 4 tracks) and although rough around the edges the songs are great - all very catchy just not as tightly executed or as polished a production as their more recent releases. Which I actually kind of like, as it gives it a very "live feel. I actually prefer this original version of "Lay It On The Line" to that of the version on Darkness Falls, because it's a bit pacier and in a word... ROCKS! Some great tunes on here and the usual - excellent - SH ballads. recommended as the last piece of your collection.
