Customer Reviews
A splendid idea born of lovely love...
A beautiful album highlighting what a great and unusual talent Tim Smith truely is, amazing to hear such different interpretations of songs that have been firmly imprinted on my mind in their original forms over the years. I look forward to Songbook two!
Get well soon Tim.
A great album
It's very interesting to hear Cardiacs by other people, I really never thought that their music could be played by anyone else, with their stylings.
Saying that, a lot of the artists are ex-cardiacs musicians and writers, so it's not surprising that this really works well.
Stoneage Dinosaurs has got to be one of my favourite Cardiacs tracks of all time, and now hearing Steven Wilson interpretation of it only cements that track more.
Its an album like this of familiar tracks, you can appreciate the artists, some of course, I need to look into further.
A great album, well worth getting if you like Cardiacs, but you already know that don't you?
Hooray!!!!
I really really miss Cardiacs, thank you all for your efforts!!
This sounds lovely.
