Absolutely incredible soulful tunes. Once again Dr Meaker hits the spot!
Absolutely Mind Blowing Brilliance
If you like Lesson from the Speaker you will love this, Im a drum and bass person to be honest but I was intrigued as to what this was album was going to be like, I downloaded it, listened to it once and was hooked, it now has to be in my top 3 of albums, along with Lesson from the speaker. It makes my hairs stand up and gives me goosebumps when I listen to it. The acoustic versions just confirm the true musical genius of Dr Meaker, and the amazing beautiful soulful voice of the female vocalist its chilled, jazzy and just plain brilliant . This album proves how Dr Meaker can be truly versatile in completely different styles of music, Fair play to them. 10/10.

I bought Dr Meakers first album, so already a big fan of their work. Although not Dr Meaker's core musical output, this EP hits all the right notes. It's chilled, jazzy and it's also showcases some brilliant pieces of songwriting which in some ways comes out more on these stripped back versions than it did on the original album.
