Live and kickin'

Alexanders in Chester is a great jazz venue. It was my privilege to be present at this recording (I even got a dedication but it is almost entirely faded down on this recording). The recording is now over 10 years old. It finds Jan and the band in fine style rocking and jazzing their way through a selection of past music - from Mercy, mercy, mercy (originally on Jan's first solo album in 1969) through Tommy (from Focus' Moving Waves) and Crackers and No hang Ups (both recorded with Focus in the dying days) to post-Focus tracks such as Pietons and My Pleasure. Whether you were there or not this is a recording worth having.
