Absolute Genius
Anders Trentemøller at his best... a very nice summary of what to expect when someone puts everything into making the most out of music. Amazing EP and an absolute bargin. If you like this check out Last Resort! Minimal Genius
Three and a half stars, really.
Really great mixes, with added live elements (extra guitar, drum, xylophone work etc.), but it's drowned out by the crowd. It's nice to hear the crowd on a live album, but at times they clap and roar over the delicate parts of a song. Don't get me wrong, I'd be going crazy if I were at a Trentemøller gig, but they could have toned down the crowd in the mix for this EP.
In summary, great tracks with interesting new arrangements, but only buy if you're not too put off by loud crowds.
