Worth it just for Thea Gilmore
This album is a real mix of different styles, some good and some not so much. It's all for charity and to celebrate the Liverpool Capital of Culture year so it's not surprising that it's not all serious stuff. Thea Gilmore's version of You Spin Me Right Round is a real high point of the album. If you only buy one song from the album, I'd recommend this as the one to choose.
Calm down, calm down....
Wow, with such a varied and rich musical history, who would've thought that a collection of Liverpool's greatest hits could be so AWFUL? Do yourself a favour, buy the originals and be spared the horrors of Ray Quinn, Eton Road and -God help us- Atomic Kitten. A truly diabolical collection.
Great Compilation
A great list of Songs celebrating so many successful No.1s out of Liverpool. A great collection in its own right but even better if you were lucky enough to be at the concert in January.
