Mega talented singer from Netherlands sings Burt Bacharach.

And how! Nearly every song is being done justice to by Trijntje, who already has an accolade for her impressions of Stevie Wonder songs. (she by no means a "karaoke" artist, she has a real history of great albums in her own way already) On this album she excels in the hitting the right notes, and giving the already famous songs another life with her own brand of jazziness.Yes,she's up against some artists and voices, and of course: can you outperform Dionne Warwick on a Burt Bacharach song? That's not the point. Burt plays piano on 2 songs,All Schmitt handles the recording process as delicately as ever, and so on...you know what you are going to get: Those famous songs in another jacket, sung by a beautifull voice. A No-brainer.

For those really in the know, and who like to dig a bit deeper in search of brilliance, you will find no better than this fantastic female Dutch jazz singer, whose interpretations of the Burt Bacharach classics are the best I have ever heard. Both albums, the "Look Of Love", and her second offering, "Who'll Speak For Love" are unbeatable, if you love the Bacharach songs. The versions, believe it or not, are better than Dionne's. Her incredible versions of 'San Jose' (Look Of Love) and 'One Less Bell To Answer' (Who'll Speak For Love) are sensational. I would love to see her performing these songs live - anyone know if she will be coming to the UK ?.

This is one of the best!!!

I've bought and listened to many BB albums .... but for everyday listening this is great. Inspires me to play the sax again!
