Good Songs - Pointless EP

Lost! - Brilliant song. Wonderful to play loud. However, you should already have this when you got the album (If you don't, getting the album will probably be a better idea than delving into 4 versions of the same song!) Lost? - A wonderful contrast, considering it's the same song. Don't be fooled though, it's pretty much a completely different track. The vocals and piano are spectacular. It's a lot more chilled and melodic Lost@ - Nothing too new to Lost! Apparently, it's going to be part of a live DVD, so you're probably better off waiting for that Lost+ - Disappointing, to be really honest. I expected more to be done with it. Unfortunately, Jay-Z's bit is a bit of rapping over a slightly longer guitar solo. Other than that, it's Lost! ... Besides, unless you're desperate your get it now, wait a little bit longer and you can get it on the 'Prospekt's March EP', due around 24/11/08, depending on where you are Overall, the songs are great, but the EP's a bit of pointless buy in my opinion. The only song to take from this is 'Lost?' if you don't already have it, and 'Lost@' if you're a fan of their live work. And if you add them up, buying both separately works out cheaper than the EP

Gd but hmmm

Great song but it aint new. it comes with the album viva la vida and dont get the one with jay-z in it, it sounds the same ?

More of a 'collectors' piece.

An excellent little EP, with some good variations on an excellent song, however I do not necessarily see the point of including the original track, since 99% of people who buy this will likely have Viva La Vida, but the Lost? (on piano) and Lost+ are really good little tracks, and worth buying in themselves, however since the whole thing is only £1.99, it's worth buying it in its entirety. All in all, a good EP, but as some have already said, for more serious fans only (without trying to sound elitist).

Biography

Formed: 1998 in London, England

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

After surfacing in 2000 with the breakthrough single "Yellow," Coldplay quickly became one of the biggest bands of the new millennium, honing a mix of introspective Brit-pop and anthemic rock that landed the British quartet a near-permanent residence on record charts worldwide. The group's emergence was perfectly timed; Radiohead had just released the overly cerebral Kid A, while Oasis had ditched two founding members and embraced psychedelic experimentation on Standing on the Shoulder of Giants....
