Album Review
Love Shines Through, the fourth full-length album from well-known Christian songwriter Tim Hughes, is genuine modern worship at its best. The album reveals Hughes' inventive side, sometimes without a lot of flair, but always with a focused message. The U.K. native is not one to rest on his laurels. By his early thirties, Hughes' worship anthems such as "Here I Am to Worship," "Beautiful One," and "Jesus Saves" were being sung by tens of millions each week in worship services. This doesn't keep Love Shines Through from sounding warm and authentic. In traditional Kingsway fashion, Hughes welcomes the collective talents of a number of co-writers including Ben Cantelon, Phil Wickham, Stu G, and Nick Herbert. The community approach also pays off as he welcomes keyboardist Josiah Sherman (the Listening), guitarist Marc James (Vineyard), and Rend Collective Experiment on various instruments. The album shines with a mix of Brit-pop and atmospheric rock, refined by producer Sam Gibson (Pearl Jam, Jesus Culture, Elvis Costello).

Overproduced??
I think this is a fresh album with great worship songs, Love Shines Through, and Counting on Your Name to name a few.
I do however feel that it has been over produced and so therefore hard to copy the songs when doing this in the local church.
The new Worship Central album also is one to look forward to, as the songs will be recorded live on the night.
Amazing!
This is an amazing album full of songs that will touch your heart and give you strength - At Your Name and Keep The Faith to name a few! Previous Worship Central songs are also featured...All Glory opens up to an uplifting gospel ending and Jesus Saves is set to a brand new arrangement. This is the first Tim Hughes album where I've liked every song...I have been eagerly awaiting this album for so long and it doesn't disappoint!!
Auto tuner much?
Great Album, however over produced? Tim you didn't need it!
