Pop album?
This album may have been criticised among some of the music press for its immediacy and pop sensibility which may contrast with the subtlety of their previous work, but for me this should be lauded. Does music always need to be subtle and intense to be worthy or enjoyable. This album is an example of how music should be accesible, charming, fun and lyrically intelligent. The compositions are mostly quirky and upbeat, an album that should not be given anything less than a four star review.

Efterklang are an amazing band. This album is wonderful..... best album of the year so far!
