Amazing!
I've been listening the Aqualung since 2002 and they only get better. Matt Hales is a great song writer with loads of talent. This new album is right up there with the best. The song Magnetic North is probably the most beautiful song I've ever heard! Well done Matt!
Magnetic North
I've been a fan of Aqualung for a good couple of years now, and this album is up to the same outstanding quality as all of the others, with lots of deep lyrics that can really tug your heartstrings. Plus, with Matt Hales's lovely voice, and the piano in the background, it's like a big, warm, soft towel, but for your ears (which, believe me, is a good thing.)
If you're only just discovering Aqualung however, I would say that this isn't an album you can download and listen to while not giving it your complete attention. It doesn't have quite as many catchy parts as some of the other albums. This isn't a bad thing though, because once you do really listen to the songs, you can really appreciate the beautiful melodies and lyrics.
Overall, beautiful album, and well worth downloading. Aqualung never fails to impress!
