Kid Cudi - Hip Hop’s Sensitive Soul
This is what 808's and Heartbreak should have been. Cudi has the vocals to pull off hooks unlike Kanye, lyrically he's so honest which makes many tracks on the album really easy for me to relate to. It's real different to anything out there at the moment, definitely should buy this album!
Great debut album
It really is a great debut album from an artist who has aleady gained a lot of recognition from early releases. One track that may not have been heard so much yet is "Persuit of happiness", it really seems like a perfect colabiration between three extremely talented artists - Kid CuDi, MGMT and Ratatat. The combination of Ratatats signiture guitar sounds and MGMT's vocals alongside Kid CuDi really does make an incredible track you just want to listen to over and over and over. Then there are the two tracks most people should have heard of by now "Make her say" and "Day 'n' Night" both of which are excellent tracks. A brilliant debut album I would reccomend to most.
