The future
If this isn't what modern rock music is all about, then we're all doomed to a life of drudge and drear. Huge tunes, great vocals and raging guitars smash their way out of the speakers and slap you about until you are grinning from ear to ear.
The Quails are quite simply the best thing to come out of the West Country since, well, anything really. Catch them live if you can at a festival near you this summer, before you have to pay a fortune for the privilege.
Brilliant
The second album is as good if not better than the first. I was lucky enough to see these guys performing at the Rivierra in Torquay on Saturday to launch the album. They really deserve to go a long way, I really hope they do as they truly deserve it.
