what a pleasant suprise!!!
i normally hate any kind of mass produced corporate compilation put out with the sole intention of making someone somewhere a load of cash - but as far as they go it doesn't get much better than this. Heresy, Napalm Death, Carcass, Bolt Thrower and old-skool classic obscurities from Intense Degree, Hellbastard, Spazztic Blurr etc.... classic tracks from start to finish for those who remember what REAL alternative music was all about!
Amazing collection!
When I first came across this metal compilation I thought: "there must be a catch!" but no, it really is 105 songs for a tenner. A great combination of extreme bands, some true legends such as Deicide and Napalm Death and loads of bands you've never even heard of! This makes this a must for both starters to and experts on extreme metal. Just a warning: Play loud and grow your hair first!
Blastbeat heaven
Couldn't believe I came across this by accident. 105 songs for a ten spot. Great value as there are some belters on here but also some dross so you can't win them all. Cathedral, Mistress, Nalpam Death, Carcass and even Clutch !! Can see the Ipod getting a bashing with this turned up on the way to work.
