Less of the Loose, more of the Folklore
Every 3 years her next album comes out and they never disapoint. This one's old school Nelly Furtado, it's definately more similar to Folklore and Whoa! than Loose and it's all in Spanish so don't expect this album to be all over the British media. She's just as excellent as ever and I hope she carries on with even more albums like this in whatever language she wants for years to come.

I agree why give it a 1 star?!!!! Many people around the world buy english music and don'y actually understand what it is means but love it anyway. I only understand a little but i love it still as it sounds fantastic!!!Well done nelly for being so brave and proving everyone you are not a sellout!!
Fresh and powerful
Mi Plan (My Plan) is absolutely amazing, one of Nelly's best albums, fresh and powerful. When a singer decides to sing in another language they have to put more effort in their work, and that's exactly why this album may be better than her previous works, it was no secret that Nelly fell in love with this language when she started to sing duets with Latin American singers. Spanish is a strong and very expressive tongue, just try to understand some songs, learn a bit of Spanish and you will immediately feel the need of more and more, that's the Latin effect - this plus Nelly make the perfect combination. Songs like "Vacación" and "Fuerte" has a strong Latin American influence which results in beautiful sounds and originality. "Manos al aire" and "Más" are very "Folklore", one of Nelly's previous albums. I'd love to see her singing some French or Portuguese. BTW, I'm dieing for an English version of "Manos al aire".
Recommended songs: Manos al aire, Más, Bajo otra luz, Fuerte, Como Lluvia.
