Missing the best track...
This soundtrack is like a tiger without stripes ... not having the Linkin-park / Jay-Z combo is a travesty! I can't understand how they'd dare release it missing the track that everyone associates with the movie and that actually is in the opening scene! Disgrace really.
True Mann style
The original Miami vice soundtrack was integral to the era the series was released, portraying the pop culture of the time perfectly. not only does the new soundtrack do the same, it also adds the now perfected style of michael mann soundtracks that was not then set in stone; a rocky, edgy sound for the bitterness and action of the film, coupled with gliding, new age classics to emphasise the picturesque scene setting that he creates. very cool.
Shurely Shome mishtake....
The one track that carries the whole film is jay-z and linkin park yet its not on the album.....shameful!
