Customer Reviews
Should I really admit to buying this ? LMAO
Well, if you like [d] the TV series and the songs buy it, they are so....memorable. Well produced, and the choirs are excellent. I'll bet they had fun during the recording. However; and this is my ONLY gripe; what would have been really good would have been to have the music together with the film of the ...whatever it protrayed. On it's own the music stands out in a strange genre of quirkisness; with the film it makes more sense in all ways. Buy it though, quirky is good in these days of global brew-haha and negativeness.
If you like the show - Give it a Go !
Like Tim (the other reviewer), this is a bit of an odd album, and had it been in the shop to buy you might feel uncomfortable buying it over the counter! It is actually quite good, but I would only consider buying this if you've seen the TV Show that it comes from as “The Train from Bloemfontein “might not make sense Daniel Pemberton's work is sharp, and has some fantastic set pieces “Egyptian Sunset” and “Epic” are good examples and the Crouch End Festival Chorus give it all for stirring tracks like “Heave Ho” So, if you've seen the TV Show, then “Heave Ho “- “Give it a Go “!
