Album Review

A companion to Snoop’s 2009 album Malice N Wonderland, More Malice features five new songs plus two remixes, including the very necessary “Kings G-Mix” of “I Wanna Rock” with special guest Jay-Z. Adding Bun B to the “G-Mix” of “Pronto” gives the Soulja Boy collaboration some proper muscle, and as far as the new cuts, the off-kilter “House Shoes” satisfies with its Drumma Boy production, while the Kid Cudi collaboration “That Tree” is cosmic enough to make the Silver Surfer’s playlist. Stuck on the end is the standard version of “Gangsta Luv,” an idea left over from the initial plan of this being an expanded version of Malice N Wonderland. Instead of the original album along with the new cuts, fans get a bonus DVD featuring the Malice N Wonderland movie, a strange, dark, and wild short film with the rapper playing the ultimate Snooperhero. All together, it’s a decent set of odds and ends of most interest to the Snoopaholic.

Totally destinctive

The thing ive always loved about Snoop from the start is his unique accent and the destinct bounce to the rhythm of his rapping and production. This album does not fail to impress and for me continues to set him apart from the rest. Buy it!

Snoop D.O Double Digger

As much as I love dear snoopie it would seem to me he is a little out of stride with this album...
while expecting some classic snoop dogg lines I found none and caught myself thinking that he is simply gold digging with his fame, leeching off the feat.'s in the album (which there are an awful lot of!!!)
It pains me to say: Do not buy this album, you will be dissapointed with a rather bland repetative selection of chunes...

silly music for little boys.

Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

As the embodiment of '90s gangsta rap, Snoop Dogg blurred the lines between reality and fiction. Introduced to the world through Dr. Dre's The Chronic, Snoop quickly became the most famous star in rap, partially because of his drawled, laconic rhyming and partially because the violence that his lyrics implied seemed real, especially after he was arrested on charges of being a murder accomplice. The arrest certainly strengthened his myth, and it helped his debut album, 1993's Doggystyle, become the...
