My Brother Chris
I first heard this track on MTV2 at about 3am and thought who are this band? After several searches on the internet i found out very lttile more, with only a few basic reviews online. This single is a great track. Their sound reminds me of Editors, Interpol et al and if you like music which is free of irony (the main offenders of this genre being Franz Ferdinand, the Fratelis) then you should check this out. They have an album - the dreamer evasive - coming out in late Jan 2007 and that is well worth a purchase. This track in particularly is danceable, emotive, catchy and edging on the dark side. A lot better that some of the post-modern trashy, superficial music that is around.
