The Album and Launch Nite Gig
This is quite simply THE Complete album! Beautiful, well constructed lyrics meet a set of quite brilliant melodies and beats! As well as that it is all put together by only the finest personnel, Manda's vocal is quite fantastic and she has a fine band beside her in James, David and Stuart. I was lucky enough to be at the album launch gig last night and can vouch first hand and sincerely that you won't meet many nicer groups of people and that as a live force the power of the album itself is emphasised even more than i thought it would be. Manda has a natural lead stage presence and as well as the vocal has the charm, grace and wit to keep any given audience enthralled and the 'Rinnettes' as Manda calls them are a fine live band in themselves and are the perfect musicians for this set of songs and most sets of songs for that matter! Do yourself's a favour, get the album and any chance you get to see this fine band,DON'T Miss it!!
Simply Incredible
I have to say I was extremely excited when I first heard the single "DNA" (a perfect piece of pop!), but I assumed it would probably the best tune on the album when it came out. Not a chance. I've been listening to this album constantly for the past two days. Any song could be an amazing single. My stand-out tracks are Typeface, Guilty Pleasure, No Language and Bruises. The whole thing is incredible.
