Hinterland II
William Orbit has always been creating beautiful soporific albums with an ethereal quality. No change here then! This is less like the last studio album 'Hello Waveforms' and more like the Strange Cargo days of old. It especially reminds me of Hinterland. This does mean that it sounds a little dated by comparison to Hello Waveforms. If you like the sound of William Orbit then download it now. If you want an album for chilling without the need to skip tracks then this is perfect and a good introduction to William Orbits musical style.
Lovely
Listening through the for the first time as I write this. Mellow. Peaceful. Summer. Bliss. I'm walking to Avebury for the Summer Solstice Eve party in June. The first thing I do when I arrive there is to go sit under the beech trees with a cool beer and listen to this album again from start to finish. Thanks for making my summer better William. Now, go and have a rest! In fact, get yourself down to the Red Lion at Avebury on Sat 20th June and I'll buy you a cold one myself.
