Customer Reviews

As expected. Sadly.

As a big Coldplay fan I didn't have massive hopes for this album. I enjoy ETIAW and Paradise but they aren't phenomenal songs, they don't ground break like early works, this album has settled into the expectation of the mainstream. The first half of the album is enjoyable but once I got about half way through (around Rhianna's entrance) I found myself losing interest. I tried really hard to persevere but started skipping tracks around no.10. The album will do brilliantly and I'm sure it will produce at least 3 more singles but it just didn't do it for me. Bring back the emotion of albums past please boys. Back to Parachutes I go...or maybe I'm in the mood for some of Audiogold's "Embers and Theories"...

Great!

Coldplay shows us once again that they are brilliant on so many levels. Mylo Xyloto is a game changer and some great work. It was worth the wait and worth every download, I recommend it for every old and new Coldplay fan. If you like discovering new music then I recommend "Round and Round" by Buddy Mix on his Cloud 9 album here on itunes. I am looking forward to seeing Coldplay perform these songs live, so hopefully they will come in concert down under soon!

Stunning, quite possibly their best one yet!

Love every single track i've heard off this album! can't wait for my hard copy in the morning! bring on the tour!!

Formed: 1998 in London, England

The group's emergence was perfectly timed; Radiohead had just released the overly cerebral Kid A, while Oasis had ditched two founding members and embraced psychedelic experimentation on Standing on the Shoulder of Giants....
