Metro magic

This kind of electro-synth experimentation was covered (sometimes woefully) 20 years ago in a decade that seems embarrassing to those who lived through it as teenagers but now is providing an inspiration to many. In fact, synthesizers have become COOL again. These guys have taken their influences from that period and spawned a creature all of their own. It’s an electro mish-mash of sounds sprinkled with guitar fuzz, funky beats and a pop chic. Ok so some of the digital meanderings make me chuckle but who said music was meant to be serious anyway?!! At times it does sound like HG Well’s time machine has been firmly set to 1984 and there are moments of banality but at it's mighty mindblowing brilliance it sounds like nothing you’ve heard before.

The dogs bo**ocks!

OK lets not beat about the bush this album is fantastic! Melting Stevie Wonder into Kraftwerk into Prince via Postcard era Eighties vocals this collection of songs takes you on a helluva journey. Musical highlights are the robotic frenzy of "My heart rate rapid", the Cure base-lined "On dancefloors" to the anxious "back on the motorway". Throw in the excellent "heartbreaker" and vocally twisted "holiday" and you have album of the year by a mile. I download a lot of music and have listened to a fair share of sh1t over the years, however this is killer track after killer track. DOWNLOAD IT NOW!

Heartbreaker rocks

You guys rock my socks. I saw you at wireless festival last year after getting the song 'You Could Easily Have Me'. When I saw you guys I couldn't get Heartbreaker and Radio Ladio out of my head for months. Buy this album, it's worth every penny.
