Fantastic!
I just discovered this - it's kind of singer-songwriter acoustic stuff with the occasional rockier track. It's just brilliant - great songs that are melodic, with anthemic choruses that hook you in and make you want to listen again straight away. His lyrics are intelligent and at times very emotive and personal. What impressed me most was that there are no weak tracks as you so often find with this type of thing, just great songs. Watch this guy, I reckon he could be big; if you buy 1 album this Christmas, get this, you won't be disappointed!!
Inspiring, thought provoking - sheer excellence
Having heard Finchley during his time in Supervision, I awaited his solo debut with anticipation and high expectation. I have not been let down. The whole album is great; with personal highlights of Contraflow, Walking with Angels and In the Wind really raising the hairs on ones neck. Great production and well thought out music compliment the heartfelt lyrics perfectly. Everytime I listen to it, I like it more. Buy it and enjoy.
