gaga look out
great song, great video, great comeback. how people can say that she's a wannabe Gaga is just wrong, Christina was around way before Lady Gaga (1999 genie in a bottle - just dance 2009) and if anything gaga copying christina remember dirty. great to see christina back can't wait for the album.
Not Very Subtle
I'm finding it hard not to feel a bit uncomfortable with Chistinas comeback. I can't help not think of Lady GaGa. Whereas lady gaga can show she is doing something different everytime, from just dance to the telephone video for example, where she just oozes confidence but then Christina comes along and makes a whole song about doing something different but it turn being highly unorigional. And the fact that she has had major similartes to lady gaga in the past few weeks, in her new video she has the same glasses, and the big white back drop and she does a similar crawl and fire, is utterly ridiculous. And she is quite sour saying she doesn't know if lady gaga is a man or whatever it is, which is extremly vicious and vendective and I think has put the first nail in her slowly declining career. The songs quite catchy and well sung but its all very bitter sweet
What's she trying to prove?
I have always been a fan of Christina, and have bought all of her previous albums. I thought Back To Basics was genius, but this single is terrible. The song is awful, the vocals are generic, and the video is cheap and nasty. Christina has always been a leader, not a follower, so why is she trying to do what Gaga was doing 2 years ago? It seems to me that Christina is trying to show the world that she's still 'Dirrty' after becoming a wife and mother. But this isn't so much dirty as desperate. Christina is a LOT better than this, and so is her voice.
