Yet another mix CD with the same stuff on it
Now, I myself am a Trance DJ and I can understand how much all of these songs can affect someone on their basic emotional level, but if like me you've been into the dance scene for any amount of time, you will have heard all of these songs over and over again until they've been drummed into your head. The nature of dance music isn't usually to create timeless classics, so when ones do come along they always get oveplayed on radio etc and lose their appeal. All of the songs on this CD are mental but they've all been on countless other mix cds, so chances are you'll have most if not all of them languishing on your hard drive somewhere. Plus I love Ferry, but Tiesto's Adagio for Strings is in my opinion the greatest dance track of recent times. If you're new to this kind of stuff and really want to get into the trance scene (which is flourishing after a bit of a lull a couple of years ago) then these tunes will take you into that special place that the genre's meant to. But if you're a trance regular, why buy again that which you've already got? Still kicks all those cheesy 'club anthems' CDs though. Oakenfold we adore ye.

Great selection of mixes and a decent price from iTunes given the full length mixes on here. I'd forgotten how fantastic Oakenfold's mix of Beautiful Day was - definitely one best remixes of all time imho...
Oakenfold - the MacDonalds of DJing.
Once a mega fan of Oaky, I travelled far and wide. But he seems to have given up being a DJ and sits on his computer letting something like Mixmeister Fusion create CD's with the same old stuff in different orders. Get back to the Goa mixes and stuff. Become real again.
