From Strength To Strength
Pure Genius Again and Again - He can make you smile with a sad song ... he can make you cry with a 'happier' one !!
Great album, rubbish price!
As usual, Waits' quality control guarantees a worthwhile listen. Many of the tunes have been available previously, but it is nice to have them together in this collection. Sea of Love is a standout for me, but the album is littered with memorable gems.
You would have to be mad to pay £24.99 for this though! What's with the crazy price itunes??? Save at least ten pounds and get the CD from elsewhere.

In the 1970s, Tom Waits combined a lyrical focus on desperate, low-life characters with a persona that seemed to embody the same lifestyle, which he sang about in a raspy, gravelly voice.
