A fitting end to the journey..
I found Redjetson by accident originally, a link from Youthmovies's myspace page led me to finding 'stay comfortable' from New General Catalogue' and fell in love almost immediately. Since then it all went a bit quiet in the Redjetson camp, with talk of the new album being delayed for months, then for them finally to put the demos of a few of these tracks on myspace, I began to love the, Soldiers and Dinosaurs became my most sought-after song, and as they showcased Beta Blocker it became apparent that the second album would be equally as glorious as the first. Sadly the announcement of the split came just before the album dropped, much to my dismay - another truly great British underground band going out of existance. Other Arms starts and ends with quality. Soldiers and Dinosaurs shimmers with post-rock goodness and the haunting effects used on Ian's vocals still get me. Highlights are Beta Blocker, Count These Demons, First Of The 47,000 and (g)Listen. (g)Listen is my stand out track and should be in everyones collection. When you're looking for a new album that you will engage with, and take something from, this is the album to get. RIP Redjetson, you will be missed :(

when i first heard Redjetson had split i thought there goes another band that had so much to give. then they released this album, another piece to cherish. so sorry they have gone but hopefully on day! please try them out you won't regret it.
