Outstanding - album title, review and joke, all in one
I have been lucky enough to see this group live it'e a great album that reflects the breadth of the talent.
Track 1 is a highlight, crank the volum up (not necessarily to 11) and dive in; a great rendition of a classic track and either the aircon turned on or I got a few goosebumps.
I enjoyed the whole album but the energy of Got your Letter and the pain and heartache in 'one more kiss' stood out.
elsewhere I just like the alternative takes on what are classic blues songs, try Reconsider Baby or Early in the Morning to see what I mean; Nice live recording at the end of a Seasick Steve song too.
Overall intersting and enjoyable album....now if only 'One more kiss' gets picked up by some hollywood film soundtrack
