Read a review of this at the weekend and it really bigged it up, so I had to check it out. All I can say is. . . wow. It totally lived up to and even exceeded my expectations. Great songwriting and great tunes - winning combo! Check it out.
a new cult superstar
ema is everything that is good about the likes of Cat Power, Courtney Love, Dum Dum Girls and 90s grunge and lo fi rolled into one! a stunning album from the opening epic The Grey Ship this is an early contender for album of the year surely!
Inventive
There's not a dud track here. Really extraordinary and challenging. You may not like it all but stick with it. Not many girls in the world like this and with this refreshing attitude. Rock n Roll as the new black...finally.
