I was lucky enough to be at the Hammersmith Apollo for Peter Gabriel's first live performance after leaving Genesis and he played this album sitting at a grand piano without any props and costumes in contrast to his Genesis stage personna. As a result the album is the essential Peter Garbiel sound full of great songs, quirky lyrics and fantastic music.

Fine album. a bit mad!

Genesis split, Peter's first solo album, Strange mix of songs here, Moribound and Burgermeister being totally weird and Excuse Me, that a side, Solsbury Hill makes up ground, a very good album. Acquired taste though.
