Everything Nicki Minaj touches turns if not into gold then at least into something much more interesting. After making her name as a dynamite special ingredient to everyone else’s records, she finally lands her own debut album, 2010’s Pink Friday. Her guests, from Rihanna to will.i.am, may be there to bump up her profile, but they are no match for Minaj’s rapid-fire attack. Only Eminem on the truly nasty “Roman’s Revenge” can keep pace with her, as she tries out new personas — Roman Zolanski and his mom, Martha — with gleeful ease. Minaj tackles hip-hop and princess pop à la Gwen Stefani (“Right Thru Me”). She lets Rihanna deliver the radio-friendly sweet hook of “Fly” while she talks herself in blazing circles. “Moment 4 Life” is Minaj and Drake mixing it with newfound intensity. Kanye performs up to her level on the manic panic of “Blazin’”. “Check It Out” with will.i.am rides the sample of the Buggles’ “Video Killed the Radio Star.” The Deluxe Version of the album includes five bonus tracks, including the ‘80s dance groove “Girls Fall Like Dominoes”. If anyone represents 2010, it is Darling Nicki.

The best Rap album not only by a female but by any rap artist in history!

What the...?

I don't like to review too much but I can't believe the hype over this generic excuse for an album!! Yes, Nicki has skills on the mic' but she doesn't use them on this album! In fact, the only time I've heard greatness from her was on her first on Kanye West's 'Monster'. So as an unbiased and impartial consumer I would say if you like mainstream pop that sounds like everything else get this, and if you don't, don't!! Only half decent song is 'Blazing' but it only sounds good once you skip past Nicki's verse... She's a decent rapper but this album is as disappointing as Lupe Fiasco's latest album.. For the record; Nicki Minaj is definitely not the best female rapper ever!! Lauryn Hill is!! And this is not the best rap album ever, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' is and that is not opinion, it is actually a fact!!! (album, not female rapper).

What a load of rubbish! Best album ever... of course not. Best rapper (female or otherwise)...listen to something other than what's on radio. If you listen to what the mainstream FM bands play all day long, over and over... of course you'd think it's the best thing ever cuz u'd never hear anything else!
