READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASE!

I pre-ordered this album expecting it to be like the other Pure Garage albums here on iTunes, or like the numerous other electronic albums which you'll find on this service. Unfortunately this compilation doesn't conform to what I was expecting:
Practically all the single individual tracks are either mixed, cut or edited in some way despite most of the tracks not being labeled as such e.g "radio edit"
With these kind of digital albums here on iTunes you generally get the long continuous DJ mix tracks and then you usually receive the individual full length or radio edit tracks, however in this case, most, but not all of the individual tracks are mixed together, a handful are full length 12" mixes some of which are deliberately layered with sound effects differing from the original recording. What's strange is the DJ mix on the individual tracks breaks down in places and goes into a full length track (start to finish) and then back to a DJ mix, but it's not continuous as it should be, you'd either expect them to be all mixed together in a continuos fashion or just single, individual radio edit tracks or full length 12" original mixes. Very strange and totally unacceptable. Buyers should also note that there are some UK Funky tracks on here also, so it's not a solely UK Garage album. If your after the DJ mix tracks then it's fine, but the individual tracks are a waste of your hard drive space!

Another great Pure Garage

This is the second Pure Garage album I have bought and I have to say it is even better than the first - Jason Kay does a brilliant job yet again on mixing duties and the value for money on here (60 tracks PLUS three full length mixes) is just great. Will keep me going nicely until the next installment!

I'm sure i have heard this already!

So, it is that time of the year when Pure Garage attempts to scrape the barrel of the awful UKG compilation cd.

No wonder EZ jumped ship ages ago, he could see the obvious direction that was going, and that is down.

If you look at the track listing on Pure Garage 1 it is still far better than this rubbish, christ, we have had enough of Teardrops for instance.
