perfect pop music that deserves to be a smash..but...
..sadly this is likely to end up the same way Better than Today did..barely making a dent in the Top 30 before sinking without a trace...i have no idea who makes the decisions on marketing the songs which to be released as singles in Kylie's label, but she seriously needs to take the upper hand with the decisions...as this will end up the same way as " The One"..released without any fanfare and sinking without a trace....and criminally so!!!
Put your Hands Up is a feel-good dance floor filler with an uplifting chorus that closes the main part of Kylie's Les Folies/Aphrodite Tour prior to the encore, and, having been there myself ( in Manchester ) i can assure you that it was a real crowd pleaser ( a live version of which is included hin this E.P ) and this single has probably come about as a direct result of positive feedback...
The Pete Hammond Remix is T.D.F ( to die for! ) a throwback to Kylie's PWL/SAW days and is chicken soup for the soul for anybody who listens to Kylie's early stuff with fondness and nostalgia in their heart!
Always great to hear a new Kylie track and Silence is " gorgeous " - a funky electro dance track that sounds like it should have been on the " Aphrodite " album.
