N.M.E gets it right.
I haven't agreed with all of the N.M.E's recent reccomendations but this is v.cool. Punky, yet also slightly fey somehow. Credit to iTunes for making the main track only 59p too. I do think that new artists actually deserve some money to live on.

Theoretical Girl is the project of Amy Eleanor Turnnidge, who, along with her backing band the Equations, makes music that blends synth pop cool, girl group innocence, and occasionally folky melodies. Originally hailing from Southend-on-Sea, England, Theoretical Girl relocated to London's Muswell Hill and released singles such as "Red Mist" and appeared on compilations such as Digital Penetration and a collection from the aptly named Angular Records.
